So, how can we
I create and deliver workshops, projects, storytellings and events for organisations, schools, festivals and individuals.
I've worked in schools, colleges, SEN settings, nurseries, community centres, festival fields, parks, homes, forests and assorted stages throughout Europe.
I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate through NAWE, The National Association of Writers in Education
I have Public Liability Insurance up to £10million through Equity, The Actors Union
I have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate (2014)
I am listed as a storyteller by the National Literacy Trust
I am represented as a Children's author by Gemma Cooper at The Bent Agency (UK/US)
My rates for London schools and community organisations start at £100 for a single workshop or storytelling
Full school day from £275
Half day from £180
If you have a brilliant idea for an event or storytelling, but don't have the funds, please get in touch anyway as each year I work on a limited number of projects for a reduced 'community rate'

Whether you want a Year 6 Spectacular written with your leavers or a retelling of classic fairytales for your Reception Class - I have years of experience in both areas. Or, if you want to help your teachers do what I do, I also offer fun, interactive INSET days and half days for your staff.
If drama is what you're after I'll get your whole class up on their feet, using their bodies and minds to interact with language, rhythm, story and communication as well as learning important skills for creative collaboration and experiencing the joy of performing.
For storytellings I do all the performing myself and ask your learners to come with me on a journey deep inside a story's twists and turns, to engage with myths, legends and folktales that will set their imaginations on fire. I bring my ukulele, and some small props to make sure that everyone is as engaged and spellbound as possible.
Or maybe you'd like to combine the two into an interactive and dramatic storytelling/story creation workshop involving drama for your lively year 3s or your reluctant readers and writers who have so much to contribute but just need a bit of extra confidence.
I love helping children and young people to bring stories and ideas to life with genuine confidence and pride. I work with pupils of all backgrounds and abilities and also have a wealth of experience working with learners on the autistic spectrum.
Do get in touch to discuss your ideas, I'd love to hear from you!
Adult Storytelling and events
When was the last time you lost yourself in a really great story? Or the hairs on the back of your neck stood up just through the sound of another human voice? I LOVE telling stories for adults, I co-ordinate and compere creative and community events, run workshops in voice and movement and I can bring something very special to your wedding, anniversary, high day or holiday. Whether it's a fundraiser, entertainment for a corporate event or a team building exercise, I can come on my own or collaborate with dancers, DJs, musicians, artists and designers! If you have an idea that you want to realise - please get in touch!

I love little ones!
Fun, engaging play and story are ESSENTIAL to learning for under 5s. I have over 20 years experience storytelling and facilitating creative play and drama for children in the early years. I use rhythm, rhyme, movement, games, songs and stories to engage your little ones in fun, fantastic, active learning.
I also love working with staff and parents - I believe we are all storytellers and I'll work with your grown ups to help them believe it too. Storytelling in early years should be as natural and integral as breathing, and as fun as getting stuck into the sandpit - in fact it can even take place in the sandpit if that's what you'd like.
As well as my hands on experience in Early Years I'm also an avid scholar of Early Years theory and practice; everyone from Montessori to Malaguzzi so I can back up any training with evidence based approaches that are proven to increase the chances for life long learning and development in our next generation of creative thinkers.
“It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child or adult is able to be creative and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual discovers the self.”
― Donald Woods Winnicott, Playing and Reality
